Roz Paton, The Royal Wootton Bassett Chamber of Commerce President, Steve Watts, The Mayor of the Town and Owen Collier, The Town Crier presents two Special Chamber Membership Awards to our town’s High Street businesses.

Roz Paton, President of the Chamber said, “Our Chamber wanted to recognize two of its members this year both operating independent businesses in a Special Award Category. Both businesses, whilst maintaining safe distancing stayed open throughout all the Coronavirus restrictions and lockdowns giving customers the opportunity to shop locally in a smaller retail environment.”

The first recipient of this year’s Special New Business Member Award 2021 went to the Cloth of Gold for adapting, diversifying, and placing an absolute focus on customer needs to deliver its products and services during the pandemic. Sarah Jackson’s creative and innovative approach has proved successful in her first year of trading especially during a challenging year and has won her much local praise.
