Applications for the Additional Restrictions Grant have reopened
We’ve reopened the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG, also known as Discretionary Payments) today (Tuesday 26 January) to help support Wiltshire businesses.
The grant has been reopened for new applications only. If you have already applied for an ARG since November, you do not need to reapply as, if eligible, you will receive any further payments automatically. If you have previously applied for a Discretionary Grant (running May to September, prior to November) you will need to apply to the ARG scheme separately.
The grant supports businesses that are not covered by other grant schemes, such as the Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) for business premises closed by national restrictions.
The application window will be open until 12 February. This window will be extended if the fund is not oversubscribed. We may close the window early if a large volume of applications are received.
Grants range from £1,500 to £10,000, depending on the number of employees a business has, so this is vital funding that can really make a difference during this difficult time.
Businesses who have struggled to access other forms of support are encouraged to apply for the ARG, as the eligibility is different to the Self-Employment or Furlough schemes. Directors paid by dividends and larger firms are all able to apply, and applications will be considered. Please do make sure you submit an application – or you could be missing out on vital funds to support your business. |
